three lakes in the mountain the most
famous and visited is the Bulusan Lake a recreational area where tourist visit

Aguingay Lake
During my stay in Legazpi to do
some sort of work, I was blessed to hear
this news that the mountain is now open for hiking activities. I contacted some
of the mountaineers in my Facebook account “The Philippineoutdoorrampage” if
they could give me some information about the climb and if possible join
me in the said claimed.
Some information i gathered leads me to Mr. Philip
Barlitet of Bulusan Volcano Natural Park (BVNP), the facilitator of all climbs
conducted in the mountain during its opening. This also gives me some
opportunity to meet some mountaineers in Bicol and make some new connections
and friends.
The Bulusan Lake, the biggest lake of Mt. Bulusan, this is the jump-off point where you can kayak or trek to the other side which is the point of access to the ranger station,
