In the month of
October to May every year when Donsol River is heavily populated with planktons
“known to be the food” of Whale Shark or Butanding in their local name, attracts this gentle giant and converge at Donsol bay for 6 to 7 months and inhabit there as their feeding
area.
Butanding despite of their massive size are so harmless and friendly to
human, you can swim and take photos of you with them as close as 6 meters.
Come and join us
swimming and sightseeing with the one of the biggest fish in the world . The
peak season of the year is from February to May.
